Hey Echo SMS Program

Hey Echo, Inc. provides a platform that client organizations use to conduct employee feedback diagnostics, including engagement-related text messages sent to participants. This page explains how consent is collected before any text message is sent.

How consent is collected

Consent is always collected before a participant's phone number is used to send any SMS. Consent is captured in one of two ways:

In most cases, participants provide consent through a consent checkbox when they sign in to the Hey Echo platform. The checkbox is not pre-selected, and participants choose whether to opt in to text messages.

In some cases, the client organization, through its HR team or staffing partner, administers a signed consent form to participants instead. A blank version of that form is available for review here: SMS consent form (PDF).

No SMS is sent to any participant until consent has been captured through one of these methods.

What participants consent to

Each participant who opts in consents to receive:

  • Invitation links to complete short voice or text-based interviews
  • Reminder messages if interviews have not been completed
  • Confirmation messages after interview completion

Message frequency typically ranges from 1 to 4 messages per interview cycle. Message and data rates may apply.

How participants opt out

Participants can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, participants can reply HELP or contact privacy@heyecho.ai.
